THE GREAT ROUTE OF FILM BY ANDALUSIA

Film Destinations

The Alcazar of Seville, the desert of Tabernas, in Almeria, or the beaches of Cadiz have hosted the most varied film and television productions since many years ago. The enormous success and great impact of many of them have contributed to the boom of the film tourism in Andalusia, turning many towns and cities in our region into tourist destinations and places of pilgrimage for moviegoers, who seek to reproduce scenes from their favourite movies and series in the places where they were actually shot. Strolling through the Plaza de España in Seville as Anakyn Skywalker and Queen Amidala did in ‘Star Wars. Episode II – Attack of the Clones’, running through the Almeria beach of Monsul as Harrison Ford and Sean Connery in ‘Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade’; or recreating Captain Alatriste’s swords duels in Baeza is possible if you visit our film destinations.
