THE GREAT ROUTE OF FILM BY ANDALUSIA
Cazorla, Jaén

The village of Cazorla is the epicentre of Sierra de Cazorla, Segura y Las Villas, the biggest protected area in Spain, the second in Europe and declared as Biosphere Reserve by the UNESCO in 1983. Its charm becomes from the preservation of the characteristics of a typical local town, with white houses and narrow streets and stately houses, which is surrounded by thousands of olive trees and one of the most visited natural sites in Spain.

Here was filmed…

Along the beautiful landscapes of Sierra Cazorla were shot some episodes of the TV show Curro Jiménez, such as “Entierro en la serranía” (episode 20), where appears some stunning views of the mountains, “Retorno al hogar” (episode 14) or “El péndulo” (episode 15), mostly shot along the beautiful sites of Parque Natural de Cazorla.
