Las Setas

In the Setas viewpoint, in Plaza de la Encarnación, they shot a conversation between Javier Gutiérrez and Ariana Paz, who plays another neighbour from the building in ‘El Autor‘.

The Metropol Parasol project, best known as the Setas of Seville, was built in 2011 by German architect Jürgen Mayer and it is the largest wooden construction in the world. Conceived for renovating the Mercado de la Encarnación, on the ground floor, and the square by its name, it has become one of the most visited places in the Sevillian capital, partly due to its breathtaking viewpoint, which is 28.5 metres high and from which you can admire the entire city. Under the Setas, you can find the Antiquarium, in which you can see Roman and Arab archaeological remains, and above the market, there is a square with children’s leisure areas which host different events.
