Episode 16 of ‘Curro Jiménez’, titled “La leyenda de Zacarías Mendoza” was shot in Alcalá la Real, concretely, some local landscapes, the cortijo Peña del Yeso and the cliffs where the bandit’s band hide. Directed by Mario Camus, some scenes were also shot inside the Alhambra.
