The Municipal Auditorium of Malaga, which is also known as the “Cortijo De Torres Auditorium”, is an outdoor performance space with a capacity of around 12,000 people. It covers a total of some 35,200 m2 and has a large patio in front of the stage measuring about 2,500 m2.

The auditorium was inaugurated in 2005 and since then numerous concerts and cultural activities have taken place there.

In ‘The Crown’ the auditorium was used in Season 4, during which, thanks to the magic of postproduction techniques, the space was transformed into the Sydney Opera House. In the series Charles gives a speech outside the building to thousands of people who show their clear affection for the couple.
