If you enter the Nature Reserve of Sierra de Cardeña y Montoro from the north, you will find the town of Azuel, dependent on the City Council of Cardeña. It is a beautiful locality situated on a natural rise; from its urban area, you can enjoy stunning views of a significant portion of the northern area of the reserve.

Important scenes involving wolves and the main character, Marcos, as a child, were shot for the Gerardo Olivares’s film ‘Among Wolves’ throughout the northern area of the Nature Reserve.
