This three-kilometre-long structure, inaugurated in 2010, is located in the new part of Cadiz (“Bedouin zone” which is what the inhabitants of the historic part call those who live in the more modern part). It is highly recommended to walk along this avenue that looks directly at the Bay, the shipyards, and the José León de Carranza and La Pepa bridges (third access built to the city), from where you can contemplate the Bay in all its splendour.
The scene in which Andrea and her siblings eat with their father for the first time in a long time in the film ‘Andrea’s Love’ was filmed in a restaurant in this area.
