The Palacio de Campo Real, also known as the Palacio de Benavente, is an architectural gem in the historic centre of Jerez, with medieval origins and an imposing 18th-century neoclassical façade. Its construction began in 1545 on top of a pre-existing Islamic building by order of Pedro Benavente Cabeza de Vaca. Inside, the palace houses the oldest winery in Jerez and a rectangular courtyard decorated with fourteen medallions, two of which depict the founding couple. The building, which currently hosts cultural events and celebrations, was declared a Site of Cultural Interest in 1990.

The Vineyard (Guillem Morales, Alberto Ruiz Rojo y Patricia Font, 2021)
In the series ‘The Vineyard’, the Camporreal Palace serves as both the residence of Mauro Larrea in Veracruz and that of Carola Gorostiza in Santiago de Cuba. However, the colors of the palace (originally blue and peach) were altered in post-production to make it appear as two different buildings. The masked ball was held in its main courtyard, and its winery hosted a tavern from the period.
