Cantarriján beach is a naturist cove located in the Paraje Natural de Maro-Cerro Gordo, about 5 kilometres from La Herradura and 12 kilometres from Almuñécar. It is a small and quiet beach, with a length of 380 metres and an average width of 40 metres. The sand is dark gravel and the waves are usually quite calm.

The beach of Cantarriján was the setting for some shots in the film ‘The business’ (Nick Love, 2005), in particular, when two of the main characters wait in a boat for another character to swim to them after escaping from a fight in a bar.
