Información
Located by the river by the same name, it is one of the most beautiful avenues in the city of Granada. Two bridges made of brick and masonry, Cabrera and Espinosa, connect the quarter of La Churra, between the river and the forest of Alhambra, and the quarter of Almanzora, which extended to Cuesta de Gomérez. Built in the 16th century, it still has many dwellings of such period and remains of Arab houses.

The bridges in Carrera del Darro are famous. The Cabrera bridge is the one which the main character of ‘Caníbal’ crosses every day to go from his home to his workplace. Next to the Espinosa bridge, they shot a night scene in which the characters of De la Torre and Olimpia Melinte go up a steep slope.
