Also known as the Palacio de los Turmos, above the lintel of the door there is an inscription commemorating the visit of King Philip IV and his brother, Infante Don Carlos. Additionally, the chains hanging on the facade serve as a lasting tribute to this historic event, earning it the name Casa de las Cadenas (House of Chains).
The building is divided into three main sections: the Summer House, which features six living rooms, six bedrooms, a bathroom, a kitchen, and pantries; the Winter Quarters; and the immense labor house, which underscores the grand proportions of this historical palace.
