Información
Located by the Guadalquivir river, right in the quarter of Los Remedios, this building spreading over more than 30,000 square metres was the last site for the oldest tobacco factory in the world. The company Altadis ordered its closure in 2003 and its urban development future is still to be figured out. It still houses the chapel of Las Cigarreras Brotherhood.

The Altadis building was used for several settings of ‘El Autor‘, such as the notary office, the classrooms in which the course attended by the lead is taught and a section of the building about which the character writes.
