This was the scenery chosen by the film crew of ‘La Peste’ to recreate the indigo factory for the silk business whose owner was Teresa Pinelo’s husband. In the pit of the patio the crew recreated the deposits where this colorant is produced in three phases and the work carried on in this kind of factory. Its façade was also used as the façade of the hospital where the sick people go, inspired by the old Hospital de la Sangre, currently Hospital de las Cinco Llagas and present headquarter of the Parlamento de Andalucia, open in 1559 and the real place where the sick affected by the plague were attended in 1649.
