In the third season of ‘The Crown’, images of the hotel appear during Princess Margaret’s visit to the United States with her husband in the late 60s. In the series we can see both the outside of the hotel with the couple greeting their admirers and its central courtyard, where a party takes place in honour of the Queen’s sister.
Various facets of the hotel are visible in the programme: its main entrance and foyer, its famous elevator, its central patio and its swimming pool.
In ‘Lawrence of Arabia’, the hotel accommodated the crew during their four-month stay in Seville.
