Matalascañas beach is located in the municipality of Almonte, the immensity of its 5 km length combined with the dunes and the native vegetation, creates a spectacular landscape. Its proximity to the Doñana National Park makes it a unique destination where nature and tourism merge to perfection.

The beaches of Matalascañas were the setting for the film ‘Sunburned’. A large part of the filming of this European co-production took place on the beaches and in other areas of the town.
