This building, characterised by its medieval manners, was built in the city centre (corner between Laraña and Cuna Streets) in 1931 by the marquis who named it. The project responsible, Gino Coppedé, was inspired by the Palazzo Vecchio in Florence, something that can be detected in its façade, designed according to the Mediaeval-Italian manners.

This magnificent building works in ‘La Peste’ as the set for the whole house of the character Luis Zúñiga (Paco León): living rooms, patios, stairs, rooms… Here is where he welcomes Mateo, have meals with his friend, walk with his parrot…
