Located in the municipality of Tarifa (Cadiz) and very close to Zahara de los Atunes, the los Alemanes beach is also known as the  ‘Playa de Cabo de Plata’ and the ‘Playa de Agua en medio’. It covers some 1500 metres between Cabo De La Plata and Cabo de Gracia and is about 50 metres wide with fine golden sands.

In Episode 7 of Season 4 the beach and one of its chalets were used to portray the Caribbean island of Mustique, the tropical paradise where Princess Margaret took refuge and where she receives a visit from Prince Charles and talks to him about her health problems.
