This small semi-circular square is located in the quarter of El Arenal, although not everybody knows it. It is accessed by a passage located just opposite the Cathedral’s door of San Miguel, right in Avenida de la Constitución, and also through the Arfe and Almirantazgo streets. Its interior combines a set of arcades decorated with frescos, on marble columns, and remains of an Almohad wall. It is a private patio that closes at night.

The flat rented by the lead of ‘El Autor‘ after his separation is in Plaza del Cabildo. Here is where the character of Javier Gutiérrez ‘fortuitously’ runs into his neighbour and invites him to play chess. The character of Adelfa Calvo also appears in this scene.
