Puente Pellón Street is a shopping street in the centre of Seville. It starts in the Plaza de la Encarnación and connects to the Plaza de Jesús de la Pasión via Lineros Street. It is a central and very busy street with many shops.
This street was the location of the Vilima department store, closed in 2001, and was chosen by Álex de la Iglesia’s team to turn it into the microcosm of the characters in ‘Crimen Ferpecto’. The search for this location was complex, as no shopping centre would authorise filming, so they placed an advert in the newspaper and found this department store in Seville, which had closed two years earlier. Today the building is a hotel.
