The Polígono de San Pablo is a neighborhood in the San Pablo-Santa Justa district in the northwest of the city. It was established during the dictatorship when the Workers’ Housing and Architecture Union built more than 8,800 subsidized housing units between 1963 and 1967. In 1987, the Sports Palace of Seville was built in the neighborhood.
For the filming of the movie ‘7 Virgins’, which takes place in an unspecified working-class and marginalized neighborhood of Seville, much of the shooting was done on the streets of Polígono San Pablo: Dr. Laffón Soto Street, Eduardo García Maroto Street, and the surrounding area.
