The beach of Torre del Mar, located in the town of the same name, is located in the municipality of Velez Malaga, is an urban beach of dark sand almost 2 km long. It can be accessed from the promenade and its atmosphere is predominantly family-oriented.

It was the main location for the second season of the British series ‘Snatch’.
Also in Torre del Mar some scenes of the series ‘Brigada Costa del Sol’ were filmed, which also did a large part of its production on the beach of El Hornillo in Almayate.
