Torre Sevilla is located on the Isla de la Cartuja, on the banks of the Guadalquivir River. It is the tallest building in Andalusia, with a height of approximately 180 metres and 40 floors. Designed by the Argentinian architect César Pelli, the tower has a modern and elegant architecture with the top of the tower having a design that resembles a sail. Its construction began in 2011 and it was inaugurated in 2015, although the full opening with all the facilities took place later.
The universe of Sara, one of the protagonists of Bernabé Rico’s ‘El inconveniente’, was built indoors and outdoors in Torre Sevilla, showing a modern space totally opposed to the reality of Lola, the other protagonist of the film.
