In a small Andalusian village, an aristocrat faces a dilemma: she doesn’t know whether to convert a grove into a nature reserve for chameleons or build a luxury residential development there. An ambitious Basque financier tries to convince her to build a Marbella-style development, with golf courses, hotels, expensive restaurants, and trendy nightclubs. The duchess is surrounded by businessmen, environmentalists, and others who pressure her to act in their own best interests.
