Rubén, a middle-aged man, is about to meet his girlfriend for the first time, having met her online. He has travelled a long way to reach a small coastal village in western Andalusia, but to his bewilderment, the person who greets him is Vera, an intelligent, cheeky, inquisitive, fickle and fiery teenager – the daughter of his online partner.
