Based on the novel by Manuel Rivas, it tells the story of Fermín, a young and handsome priest who is much loved and admired by the inhabitants of La Isleta, the coastal village where his parish is situated. Things become complicated when his cousin Isaac and his beautiful wife, Ana, move there, and Fermín almost immediately begins to feel attracted to her.
