The story of three old friends. Mateo “el Gallego,” a heroic (and reluctant) Civil Guard member; Juan “el Antxale,” a fisherman turned drug dealer by bad luck and unemployment; and Benito “el Yeye,” a resigned and intelligent judicial custodian, always halfway between law and crime. Three friends separated by a place, Cádiz, and a time, the present. Caught between the abandonment of institutions, the violent and unstoppable rise of drug trafficking in the province, and the dangerous rise of social discontent.
