In the town of Las Cabezas, you can find the village of Cotemsa, owned by a rice-grower company, Herbas. It is a peculiar place because it is an example of a village in the vicinity of the Marshes created to accommodate the company workers, which has been depopulating over the last years.

The village of Cotemsa appears in the film ‘Marshland’ when the leads arrive at the town during the celebration of a fair. Las Cabezas de San Juan also holds Vetaherrado, where the exit of the Judge’s house is located, and it was the camping place for the night pursuit.
