Frankie is a young man from London who, seeking to escape his mundane and troubled life, moves to the Costa del Sol in Spain during the 1980s. There he joins a group of British expatriates involved in criminal activities, including drug smuggling and other illegal businesses. Frankie quickly rises through the ranks of the organisation, enjoying the glamour and luxurious lifestyle, but soon realises that this world comes at a very high price.
