This village, with 15 kilometres of coastline, is considered as one of the most important touristic sites in the South of Spain. It counts with some of the most fashionable and crowded beaches within the province of Cádiz, like Caños de Meca, with three kilometres of white sand, or Zahara de los Atunes, 1,600 metres long and many moody beach bars.

In the urban centre was shot the TV show, broadcasted in Spain by Telecinco, ‘Perdóname, señor’, where also appear the beaches of Hierbabuena, Nuestra Señora del Carmen, Los Alemanes, Parque Natural de La Breña and Marismas de Barbate, in addition to Tarifa and Caños de Meca.
In Zahara de los Atunes were shot films such as ‘Atún y Chocolate’ (Pablo Carbonell, 2003), ‘Camarón’ (Jaime Chávarri, 2005) and ‘El Niño’ (Daniel Monzón, 2014).
