Undoubtedly one of the most highly acclaimed series of recent years, “The Crown” has been extremely well received by both the critics and the general public. The series portrays the reign of Queen Elizabeth II of Great Britain, from her coronation in 1952 until (for the moment) the 1980s. Seasons 3 and 4 used various parts of Andalusia including Almeria, Cadiz and Malaga to film landscapes and buildings for scenes supposedly depicting parts of Greece, the United States and Australia in the 60s, 70s and 80s.
“We did a lot in a particular triangle of Andalusia which was so small but so varied, it was fantastic. There were even cities which served to simulate Sydney. Spain is a place with an endless range of treasures and I can’t wait to go back there as soon as the pandemic is over”
